Recently, I planned a destination vacation birthday bash for one of my dearest friends and I must say, it was absolutely epic. It’s Your Birthday
The Birthday Bash Package at The Point has many options for your luxury vacation and birthday celebration. The location alone feels like a party but if you’d like to throw a celebration in honor of your new life year this is the place to be! Most recently, we pregamed for my girl friends birthday with an in house spa day. The team came fully equipped with massage tables, nail services and facial treatments while we relaxed at truly one of the most serene locations, our home away from home. It was a true treat to be in the comfort of our own vacation rental for the experience. Some of the guests opted for a more active day and ventured out on the water for guided snorkeling and scuba diving. To each their own! Later we all rendezvoused at the villa for a catered sunset with delicious cocktails and then snoozed early in preparation for the next day.
Day of the party we enjoyed a slow morning of pool and beach time then leisurely made our way into the town of Playa Tamarindo for lunch. We were offered some great recommendations and also stumbled upon a surprising amount of international cuisine options, exploring was a blast! When we returned to the villa, it had been transformed into an even more beautiful birthday setting with decorations and live music. We indulged in hand crafted cocktails chosen by the birthday girl herself while we watched the sun disappear in the distance.
Later that evening we enjoyed a catered dinner with the freshest seafood and farm to table vegetables, delicious. After dancing the evening away we were absolutely thrilled by a fireworks display set up on the point, front row seats! Admittedly, some of us were hurting the next day and we planned accordingly thanks to our concierge, aka “experience guide.” A highly recommended IV Therapy Service arrived to the villa with vitamin IV infusions for those of us who had a bit too much fun the night before and it was worth it! The IV therapy made a world of difference and the party continued straight into the most fabulous day after the party brunch that I have ever experienced! The spread was immense: tropical fruit salad, smoked salmon, cappers, cream cheese, and red onions. Eggs any style, gallo pinto, bakery items, bacon & sausage. French toast, caramel fudge, and maple syrup. Pancake towers, chocolate sauce & bananas. Beverages of coffee, tea, juices, smoothies and bottomless Bloody Mary & Mimosa Bars!
Our Birthday Guest was pleased to perfection and the seamless simplicity of how it all came together made it that much more enjoyable for everyone. The options are truly endless!
